1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VedShraddha (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, whether residing in India or abroad as part of our NRI community.
2. Services Overview
VedShraddha provides a digital platform connecting users with verified pandits and gurujis for:
- Ved Seva: Remote or in-person pooja performances by verified pandits.
- Ved Margdarshan: Live guidance during self-performed rituals.
- Ved Pathan: Digital learning content including videos, audio mantras, and guides.
- Muhurta: Personalized auspicious timing recommendations.
- Guruji Chat: Spiritual guidance and consultation services.
3. User Accounts
To book services or subscribe, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities under your account. Users must be at least 18 years old, or supervised by a parent or guardian.
4. Pooja Bookings
All pooja bookings are subject to:
- Availability of verified pandits in your requested location or timezone.
- Confirmation via email or platform notification.
- Accurate provision of samagri (ritual materials) lists where applicable.
- Adherence to scheduled dates and times. Rescheduling is subject to our cancellation policy.
For NRI users, live video streaming may be provided for remote participation. Technical issues on the user’s end do not entitle a refund unless the pandit also failed to perform.
5. Subscriptions
Ved Pathan and premium features are available via subscription plans. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. Prices are listed in INR and inclusive of applicable Indian taxes unless stated otherwise. NRI users may see converted prices at checkout.
6. Payments
All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways. By making a payment, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge the specified amount. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information. Failed payments may result in service suspension.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including videos, mantras, texts, images, and software — is owned by VedShraddha or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Personal, non-commercial use of purchased content is permitted.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Use the Platform for illegal, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
- Harass pandits, gurujis, staff, or other users.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with Platform functionality.
- Share account credentials or access content through unauthorized means.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
VedShraddha provides spiritual and educational services on an "as is" basis. While we verify pandits and curate content, we do not guarantee specific spiritual outcomes, astrological accuracy, or religious efficacy. Muhurta calculations are based on standard panchang algorithms and should be considered guidance, not absolute doctrine.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VedShraddha shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use, missed bookings, or content consumption. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in dispute.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. International users consent to this jurisdiction for any disputes arising from Platform use.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice.
